Caife Úna
Caife Úna, a new café and contemporary cultural oasis, opened on Monday, March 14th 2005 in Dublin city centre. It is located at the bottom of Kildare Street, opposite the Alliance Française, and in a building owned by the Irish language organisation Comhdháil Náisiúnta na Gaeilge. The café is managed by Úna Nic Gabhann from Donegal and is open during the day, Monday - Friday, and at night, Tuesday - Saturday.
Caife Úna aims to provide tasty food, including lunch and evening meals. Special hot lunches every day. All bread, scones and pastries made in-house every morning.
The café also caters for groups involved in cultural activities (e.g. Irish language organisations) and rents the space to them for meetings, book launches, annual dinners, and other activities.

Club Chonradh na Gaeilge
Live Irish traditional music can often be heard in Club Chonradh na Gaeilge, 6 Harcourt Street (basement), especially on Saturday nights.

Club an Ghóilín

The Góilín Club is a bilingual singing club which is held in Tom Maye’s pub, North Frederick Street every Friday night during the school year. Doors open at 9.30 p.m. The club’s season normally starts on the first Friday of September.

An Chultúrlann
Cultúrlann na hÉireann (meaning "the cultural centre of Ireland") is the home of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, the association of traditional musicians in Ireland. The centre has a cultural information agency, a training and education centre, a library of books and archive of traditional recordings, a recording studio and a bar which often has Irish traditional music and dance.

Festivals

An tOireachtas
An tOireachtas, the main cultural festival in the Irish language, is a celebration of Irish language and culture. It is organised by Conradh na Gaeilge; the first half of the festival is held in Dublin in May and the second part in a different location every year around the end of October or the beginning of November. There is a literary competition every year in poetry, journalism, drama, short stories, and the novel. There are also competitions in traditional singing (sean-nós), music and storytelling, as well as exhibitions, set-dancing workshops, book launches and so on. The Oireachtas is held twice a year: in May and in late October.

Cumann Merriman
Cumann Merriman was founded to honour the work of Brian Merriman, best known for Cúirt an Mheán Oíche (The Midnight Court) and to foster an interest in Irish language, history, literature and music. Cumann Merriman organises a Winter and a Summer school each year.

The Frankie Kennedy Winter School
Named after Frankie Kennedy, founding member of the group Altan, The Frankie Kennedy Winter School is an annual event celebrating the strong and vibrant musical tradition of Donegal. The festival begins around 28 December and continues until 2 January and is held in the Gaeltacht of Gaoth Dobhair. Concerts are held in the beautiful Ionad Cois Locha venue in Dunlewey and in Óstán Ghaoth Dobhair. Additionally, there are regular music sessions and workshops on various musical instruments, which cater for young and old alike.
